We the Future
A film by Eve Mellor (student film 2020-21)
“It’s about the countless decisions made by the government month after month ignoring universities and their students. Why should we have to pay the physical and metaphorical price for their incompetence? The most support we’ve had from a petition is to ask individual universities for help. No help from the government, we are the future, we want to be able to have our own future. But in this pandemic we were asked to grow up too quickly. We want to take back our youth and enjoy these years, have our education and make our lives our own. Not bend to the governments agenda. We want our future. You should watch my film because it drives with passion and anger, so many young people feel the anger I feel, we are one student body and we all want our own lives” - Eve Mellor
